Sarah Arnold is a graduate of St. Charles North High School where she played on the State Championship winning team at the IHSA State tournament in the fall of 2018. Upon graduation in 2019 Sarah qualified for the USGA Girl’s Junior championship at Sentry World in Stevens Point Wisconsin where she made the match play round of 64. Also, during the summer of 2019 Ms. Arnold captured the Illinois Women’s Amateur Championship, a feat she would repeat in 2023 making her a 2-time Champion. Sarah went on to compete for Western Kentucky University where she became the first freshman in WKU history to post a 54-hole score of -8. Her college playing resume includes 19 top 10 finishes, including 5 runner-up finishes. In 2023 Sarah qualified for the prestigious USGA Women’s Amateur Championship at Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles. Additionally, she was a match play qualifier in 3 Women’s Western Amateur Championships and was the Marion Miley award winner as medalist at the Western Junior Amateur with scores of 72-69. Sarah also competed in several North/South Invitationals in Pinehurst North Carolina.
Currently, Sarah is the assistant girls’ golf coach at St. Charles North High School. She helped guide the team to Conference, Regional and Sectional Championships as well as a 7th place finish at the state tournament.
